Terms of Service

By accessing or using Schoolio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Schoolio on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that institution.

Last updated: 8 April 2026

1) Eligibility and scope

Schoolio is intended for educators, school administrators, and authorized institutional users. You must provide accurate account details and keep profile information reasonably current.

2) Accounts, credentials, and security

You are responsible for all activities under your account. Keep credentials confidential, use strong passwords, and notify Schoolio immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or compromise.

3) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by uploading unlawful content, violating third-party rights, attempting unauthorized system access, reverse engineering protected components, or disrupting normal platform operation. AI-generated outputs must be reviewed by educators before classroom delivery.

4) User content and educational materials

You retain ownership of content you create or upload (e.g., schemes, lessons, notes, assessments). You grant Schoolio a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for your use.

5) Subscription, billing, and renewals

Paid features are governed by the active plan in your account. Charges, billing cycles, plan upgrades/downgrades, and cancellations follow the subscription settings and payment method on file. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable for partially used billing periods.

6) Availability, maintenance, and changes

We aim for reliable uptime, but availability may be affected by maintenance, infrastructure incidents, third-party outages, or security events. Schoolio may modify, improve, or retire features at any time to maintain platform quality and safety.

7) Intellectual property

Schoolio software, branding, interface designs, and underlying technology are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these terms, no license or ownership rights are transferred to users.

8) Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free outputs. Educators are responsible for final pedagogical review before classroom use.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schoolio and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill resulting from your use of the service.

10) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for serious violations of these terms, security risks, fraud, or legal requirements. You may stop using Schoolio at any time, and may request account deletion through support channels.

11) Governing law and updates

These terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where Schoolio operates, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. We may update these terms periodically; continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

12) Contact
